A TRUE MULTIHYPHENATE, VITTORIA IS MUCH MORE THAN ONE THING.
Primarily, she is a mother and parent to her three beautiful children. Professionally, Vittoria holds a Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University and spent nearly twenty years as a special educator. It was after extensive research for her dissertation of how picture books and family recipes could be used by adults and children to celebrate their cultural identities that Vittoria founded the 501(c)(3) charitable organization One Bookshelf with the mission of stocking classroom libraries with eclectic cookbooks. In business, she is undoubtedly a creative entrepreneur and the visionary behind every venture.

and finding inspiration in everything around her: people and cultures, nature, traveling, her children and students past. Always writing for younger generations, she hopes to inspire their curiosity and creativity in life – helping them to find their own voices and come to know themselves and others on a deeply meaningful level.
Vittoria’s child-like spirit is pure light, with a love of music, art, and games of all sorts. She has an endless penchant for dreaming big and going ‘down the rabbit hole’ of her imagination – oftentimes emerging with another extraordinary idea.
